Ten years ago, Steve Jobs introduced the iPhone. the first internet-connected smartphone that focused on the experience of the user.
Today, Apple has introduced the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. But in addition to that Tim Cook introduced the the iPhone X (Ten).
So what can we expect?
The iPhone X, like the 8 and 8 Plus, comes with new design, which features a full glass front and back. Which is said to be more durable than most phones. it's designed with surgical-grade, stainless steel and comes in two finishes: space grey and silver.
The iPhone X Super Retina display supports 2046×1125 resolution, with 455 PPI, and HDR in both Dolby Vision and HDR. This is one of the driving factors in an increased price for the phone.
Apple is doing away with the home button and introducing FaceID.
The iPhone X starts at $999 for the 64GB.
Pre-orders begin on October 27th and regular sales begin November 3rd.
